After nearly a dozen years as a program offering of Youth Education in the Arts, the Crossmen have announced their return to independent status.
Corps director Mark Chambers and the rest of the Crossmen management team have spent much of the last year working out the details with YEA so that after the 2007 season ended in Pasadena, the Crossmen would officially cut ties with their parent organization and resume independent operations for the first time since 1995.
Part of that process includes the launch of the NEW Crossmen website. Stay tuned to that site as details and further announcements are made in regards to the 2008 Crossmen.
The Crossmen Alumni Association would like to graciously thank George Hopkins and everyone associated with Youth Education in the Arts over the past twelve years. Without your assistance, the Crossmen would most likley be a sad addition to the list or corps long gone. There have been ups and downs, but in the end, you've helped keep our corps alive and we are forever grateful. Our best wishes to YEA as they move forward, and also to Mark Chambers and the Crossmen management team as they prepare for an exciting and prosperous future at the helm of the Crossmen.
