After their "Metamorphosis" in 2007, the Crossmen are set to launch an expedition to "Planet X" in 2008. Thanks to the DCI website and Dan Potter, the DCI Field Pass looks at how this iconic Eastern powerhouse has adjusted after a full year in its new home base in Texas. Highlights include interviews with Crossmen director Mark Chambers and CEO Fred Morrison, consultant and corps alum Gary Cuzzocrea, horn sergeant Mark Figueroa, second year vet Russell Rybicki, and drum majors Kyle Bourdon and Meghan Huber. Moving to Texas won't stop the Crossmen Alumni from teaching the corps traditions and history of the Crossmen. On Saturday, June 7, 2008 the Crossmen Alumni Association will coninue its tradition and travel to the Crossmen's Spring Training Camp to present the corps members with something we like to call "History Night."

Jarrett Lipman aged out of the Crossmen as Drum Major this past August in Pasadena. While he is no longer eligible to lead the corps on the field, it hasn't taken him much time to help lead the corps off the field as the newest member of the Crossmen administrative team. In a recent interview with the San Antonio Express News, Jarrett, Corps Director Mark Chambers and Executive Director Fred Morrison talk about the value and the powerful reach of the Crossmen experience.
