Maureen Morrison

Picture
Maureen’s influence on the Crossmen has been profound. Since the corps moved to Texas in 2007, the audition base has grown from just under 300 students, to over 900 every year. The corps has re-established itself as a DCI finalist, and is respected across the state of Texas as a fantastic institution of music education. The Crossmen will continue to enjoy many more years of competing and entertaining fans thanks to Maureen’s leadership.

When the Crossmen moved to San Antonio in 2006, little did Maureen know how big her family was about to become. Her experience as co-president of the Reagan High School Band Parents Association would serve her well in the coming years.

Maureen quickly fell in love with the history of the Crossmen and its members. After some changes in the Admin staff, she stepped up to fill some vital roles. Maureen managed camps and operations in the early years, and helped manage the finances. As part of a great team and as the Director of Operations, she works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every detail of the corps’ operations were well thought out, planned, and attended to, often doing so at great sacrifice to her own time and energy. She cares deeply for each and every member of the Crossmen!
