Anton Romano
2025
Induction:
Anton Romano’s induction into the Crossmen Hall of Fame recognizes his lasting contributions to the corps as a marching member, brass educator, alumni leader, and dedicated member of the Crossmen family.
Anton marched with the Crossmen from 1991 through 1994, performing during one of the corps’ most memorable and successful eras. His years as a member gave him a deep connection to the Crossmen sound, culture, and traditions, as well as a lasting appreciation for the commitment and excellence expected of those who wear the uniform.
Years later, Anton continued giving back through his involvement with the alumni community. In 2017, he contributed to the Play in the Park Brass Staff, helping reconnect alumni through music and shared Crossmen history. His leadership, musicianship, and understanding of the corps’ identity made him a valuable part of that experience.
Most recently, Anton served as Brass Caption Head for the 2024 Crossmen Alumni Corps, helping guide alumni from across generations through a meaningful return to performance. In that role, he helped lead the brass program with care, preparation, and respect for the legacy of the corps.
Anton’s Crossmen story reflects the lifelong connection that defines the alumni family. From marching member to alumni educator and caption leader, he has continued to serve the organization with pride and dedication.
For his years as a marching member, his contributions to Play in the Park, his leadership as 2024 Alumni Corps Brass Caption Head, and his continued commitment to the Crossmen family, we proudly honor Anton Romano as a member of the Crossmen Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
