Bob Yarnall

Bob Yarnall’s induction into the Crossmen Hall of Fame recognizes his lasting contributions to the corps as a marching member, visual instructor, consultant, alumni leader, and trusted member of the Crossmen family.

Bob marched with the Crossmen from 1980 through 1982, becoming part of an important era in the corps’ early development. His years as a performer gave him a deep connection to the organization and to the values that have long defined the Crossmen: discipline, commitment, resilience, and family.

After aging out, Bob returned to serve on the Crossmen visual staff from 1983 through 1985 and again from 1987 through 1989. During those years, he helped guide members through a period of growth, challenge, and competitive progress for the corps. His work as an instructor reflected both his knowledge of the activity and his commitment to helping members achieve at a higher level.

Bob continued supporting the corps as a consultant in 1990 and 1991, offering his experience and perspective during one of the most successful competitive periods in Crossmen history. His influence helped carry forward the visual standards and work ethic that shaped the corps across multiple seasons.

Most recently, Bob served as Staff Coordinator for the 2024 Crossmen Alumni Corps, helping bring together alumni from across generations for a meaningful celebration of the corps’ legacy. In that role, Bob helped organize, support, and guide the instructional team, ensuring that the alumni corps experience reflected both the quality and the spirit of the Crossmen.

Bob’s Crossmen story spans decades — from marching member to staff member, consultant, and alumni leader. His continued willingness to step forward and serve reflects a lifelong commitment to the corps and to the people who call it home.

For his years as a marching member, his service on the visual staff, his work as a consultant, his leadership with the 2024 Alumni Corps, and his enduring dedication to the Crossmen family, we proudly honor Bob Yarnall as a member of the Crossmen Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
