Sharon Washick

Sharon Morris Washick’s induction into the Crossmen Hall of Fame recognizes her decades of dedication to the corps as a marching member, staff member, Board member, volunteer, alumni supporter, historian, merchandise coordinator, and devoted member of the Crossmen family.

Sharon began her drum corps journey with the Audubon Bon Bons All-Girls Corps, where she marched from 1973 through 1977 performing on timpani and triples. In 1978, she joined the Crossmen and marched in the color guard through the 1981 season. Her years as a performer connected her deeply to the corps and to the traditions, pride, and spirit that would continue to shape her service for decades to come.

After aging out, Sharon continued giving back to the organization as a member of the Crossmen staff in 1983. Her commitment did not end there. From 1990 through 1995, she served on the Crossmen Board of Directors, helping support the corps during important years in its history. While on the Board, Sharon assisted in many areas necessary to keep the organization moving forward, including ticket sales, camps, Booster Club activities, home shows, and fundraising events such as Beef and Beers.

Throughout the years, Sharon has remained a steadfast and loyal supporter of both the corps and the Crossmen Alumni Association. She has consistently stepped forward wherever help was needed, always willing to do the work necessary for the good of the Crossmen.

Sharon has also played an important role in preserving and sharing the corps’ history. She helped with the memorabilia display for the Crossmen’s 40th Anniversary celebration, collecting and organizing items for alumni to enjoy. She later contributed memorabilia and shared her own experiences as part of Crossmen LIVE, helping bring the corps’ history to life while encouraging support for the current organization.

As the Crossmen celebrated their 50th anniversary, Sharon once again answered the call. She served as Merchandise Manager for the 50th Alumni Corps, helping provide the items and details needed for the alumni corps to look and feel its best during a milestone celebration. She also participated as a marching member of the 50th Alumni Corps, continuing her lifelong connection to performance, tradition, and the spirit of Bones.

Sharon’s ongoing support is also reflected through her membership in Club Unity, where she contributes monthly to help sustain the corps and its mission. Her generosity, loyalty, and steady involvement make her a model alumna — someone who loves the Crossmen deeply and continues to support the organization in whatever way she can.

For her years as a marching member, her service on staff and the Board of Directors, her work with fundraising, Booster Club efforts, home shows, memorabilia displays, Crossmen LIVE, Club Unity, and the 50th Alumni Corps, we proudly honor Sharon Morris Washick as a member of the Crossmen Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
